Hezbollah Says It Launched Major Operation Against Israeli Forces
The group said its actions included drone strikes and rocket fire, which it described as a response to continued Israeli ceasefire violations and attacks on towns and civilians.
In a series of statements, Hezbollah said several of the operations were concentrated around the town of Haddatha, where its fighters engaged advancing Israeli units in what it described as one of the most intense confrontations in recent days.
It claimed that repeated drone attacks hit Israeli troop gatherings and military positions, and that at least four Merkava tanks and two D9 bulldozers were struck during separate engagements.
Hezbollah also stated that its fighters confronted Israeli forces advancing toward Haddatha, targeting supporting units with artillery and rocket fire over a period of roughly 30 minutes.
Separately, it said it targeted an Israeli Hermes 450 drone in the central sector using a surface-to-air missile.
